- ClickHouse Connect Sink on Confluent Cloud, the fully managed connector
- ClickHouse Connect Sink as a Custom Connector on Confluent Cloud, where you upload the connector yourself
- HTTP Sink Connector for Confluent Platform that integrates Apache Kafka with an API via HTTP or HTTPS
Which Confluent Cloud option should I use?
Both of the first two options run the same ClickHouse Connect Sink on Confluent Cloud. The difference is who manages the connector:- Fully managed connector: Confluent installs and upgrades the connector for you. Start here unless you need something it doesn’t offer.
- Custom Connector: you download a release of the connector from GitHub and upload it to Confluent Cloud yourself. Use this when you need a specific connector version, or want to override settings that the fully managed connector only changes through a Confluent support case. Custom Connectors are only available in some AWS regions.
